I created the A Funnier You Practice Snack because repetition and practice are essential if you are interested in being funnier. Practice a few minutes every day and you are on the way to being funnier fast.
How did you do with the last practice snack? I know, it’s been some time ago but I’ve been busying working on publishing Hook ’em with Humor.
On to today’s A Funnier You Practice Snack . . . “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
This practice snack is all out the mental exercise of taking a common phrase and creating alternate endings. It’s an exercise in creativity. A couple of years ago someone made this comment, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” and I replied, “unless it’s malaria.”
You have a couple of options. One is to come up with an after thought like I did above. The other option is to simply reform the phrase and come up options in place of “stronger.”
